Product

Every part of a bureau, under your eye.

From the rate board you set in the morning to the Bank of Ghana return at month-end. Every step captured, timestamped, and visible from your phone.

    1.0 Rates

Set the price. Enforce it everywhere.

Rates move. Your configuration follows. Publish buy and sell per currency, adjust spreads per branch when the day demands it, and let every teller quote exactly what you set — not what they negotiated at the counter.

Every rate change is audited with the actor, the time, and the previous value — so you can always tell apart market drift from someone moving a price.

CediSync rate management screen with buy/sell rates and audit trail

    Quotes locked to the board

Tellers cannot price outside the published rate. No off-ledger deals, no 'I gave a better rate to a regular.'

    Off-board rates need approval

A trade priced off the published board routes to a supervisor for approval before it posts — role-gated, logged, and visible in the queue.

    Rate locked at capture

A trade's rate is the rate at the moment the button was pressed, not the moment it prints. No silent mid-trade shifts.

    Rate-change audit trail

Every change has an actor, a timestamp, and the old-to-new delta — all of it searchable in the activity log.

    Multi-currency matrix

Any ISO currency you add — same rules, same audit. Default board ships with USD, EUR, GBP; supervisors add CFA, NGN, CAD, ZAR or anything else in two clicks.

    Live TV rate board

A full-screen rate board for your shop TV. Change a rate at the desk and it's on the screen in under a second — no refresh, no re-typing on a whiteboard.

    2.0 Trade

Trades posted at capture. Not later.

The teller's screen is the one you touch the most. It's built for counter speed — tap currency, key amount, confirm. Ghana Card or passport capture appears when thresholds demand it.

Every trade hits the ledger the moment it's recorded. If the connection drops, trades queue on the device — identity-bound and tamper-evident — and a supervisor ratifies each one before it posts. No gap between what happened and what's on the book.

CediSync transactions screen with volume, total trades, per-trade breakdown

    Sub-10-second capture

Three taps for common trades: direction, currency, amount. The rate, totals, and receipt follow automatically.

    Offline capture, supervisor-ratified

Power cut or no data? Tellers keep trading. Offline trades queue on the device and a named supervisor approves each one before it posts — nothing syncs silently.

    KYC against the trade

Customer record attached to the trade — Ghana Card or passport linked to the trade itself, not a side-file anyone can lose. Source-of-funds and TIN capture roll out alongside the AML workspace.

    Customer lookup

Returning customers auto-complete from phone or ID number. Three fields for a new one. Same record every time.

    Phone, tablet, till PC

Same interface, same auth, same audit trail. Tellers capture on phones at the counter; PC handles the printer.

    Approvals with thresholds

High-value trades and off-board rates pause for supervisor approval — thresholds you configure, signed with a supervisor PIN, resolved in seconds while the customer waits.

    Receipts customers can verify

Every receipt carries a QR code. Customers scan it to check the trade against your ledger — and loyalty-point redemptions are protected by a one-time SMS code.

    3.0 Close

The variance is found before the teller leaves.

End of day is where cash disappears at bureaux that close sloppily. CediSync reconciles as you go — cash, vault, sweeps, expenses — so close is a confirmation, not a reconstruction. Variance flagged in real time.

Branch close rolls up to the org-wide close. An open branch in the evening shows up red on your phone — you know which branch, who's outstanding, and why, immediately.

CediSync cash count screen with cedi denomination breakdown

    Close math, verified twice

The server independently recomputes brought-forward, carried-down, and cash figures — and rejects a close that doesn't match. A wrong close cannot be saved, even by accident.

    Cash-to-bank sweeps matched

Sweeps recorded when they happen, matched against branch cash. Drift shows up the same day, not three weeks later.

    Branch close signed, locked

Supervisor signs off. Revenue, expenses, and variance are locked. No silent edits to a closed day.

    Reopens are audited

Need to reopen for a correction? Role-gated and fully logged. Every change after reopen carries the audit root.

    Report on close

The daily report lands in the owner's inbox the moment the branch signs off — P&L, variance, and who closed the book.

    Vault, reconciled continuously

Per-currency stock — opening, purchases in, sales out, current — per branch and org-wide, valued in cedis, with inter-branch transfers logged and audited.

    4.0 Report

    Numbers you can defend.

The reports a bureau actually uses — not a dashboard graveyard. Daily close report, monthly P&L per branch and per currency, month-on-month comparison, annual summary — all from the same ledger you trade on. A Bank of Ghana monthly return template is on the engineering plan and will be tracked on the changelog.

Every view exports to CSV or PDF. Every number links back to the trades behind it. When an auditor or a regulator asks where a figure came from, you drill through in three clicks — you don't rebuild.

CediSync monthly report with net profit and weekly trend charts

    Daily report email

Emailed the moment a branch closes its book — per-branch P&L, revenue, variance, and sign-off status. Opens from anywhere.

    Monthly & comparison reports

P&L per branch and per currency, month-on-month comparison, teller performance. Export to CSV or PDF.

    Compliance details on record

Your BoG licence number, SSNIT and PAYE registration are captured once and printed on every receipt and report header.

    Numbers with sources

Every figure is computed from the ledger — and the server re-verifies the close math before a day can be locked. No black-box figures you can't defend.

    Annual summary

Year totals and monthly revenue in one view, exportable to CSV for your auditor.

    5.0 Govern

From your phone. Any branch. Any time.

Bureau owners are rarely in one branch. Supervisors move between sites. CediSync is built for that — one dashboard across branches, role-based access that makes sense, and a full audit log so you never have to wonder what happened, only whether to act on it.

Check your Kumasi close from Tema. See today's Takoradi revenue from your car. Whatever you need to trust, visible from wherever you are. Multi-branch pricing is flat — adding a new branch is a form, not a sales call.

    OwnerSupervisor
CediSync owner dashboard with multi-section navigation and vault status

    Three roles that matter

Owner, Supervisor, Teller. Sensible defaults. Override per user if you need to — every change audited.

    Per-branch scoping

Supervisors see their branch only. Owners see everything. Tellers see their till. Nobody sees what they shouldn't.

    Full audit log

Every create, update, override, sign-in — actor, action, timestamp, old and new values. Searchable by user, action, branch, or date.

    Multi-branch dashboard

Revenue, margin, close status, variance per branch. One screen. Drill into any branch in a single tap.

    Mobile-first for owners

Because that's where owners actually check — between branches, between meetings, before bed. Full parity with the desktop view.

    Licence-verified bureaux

Every bureau on CediSync goes through Bank of Ghana licence verification at signup, cross-checked against the public register.

    For clarity

    What CediSync is not.

CediSync is not a licensed bureau. You remain the licensed bureau; we give you the software to run it.

CediSync is not a payment processor. Cash trades happen at the counter; card and mobile money flows go through the providers you already use.

CediSync is not a general-purpose accounting package. It is focused on what a forex bureau actually does. If you need a full GL for a larger group, we integrate.
